We sincerely congratulate the France originated sports, JORKYBALL WORLD COMPETITIONS 2020 to be held in Fukuoka which will be the first time in Asia.<\/p>\n
The relationship between me and the Jorkyball is that the Japan Jorkyball Association is located in my hometown, Miyama City, Fukuoka and had a wonderful opportunity to know Mr.Kajiki, the director of Japan Jorkyball Association.<\/p>\n
In November 2018, they held the competition Japan-Canada competitions in Futako Tamagawa, Tokyo commemorating a 90th anniversary of the Japan-Canada diplomacy with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of Canada in Japan, Sports Agency. In fact, it was a first time to watch live games of Jorkyball.<\/p>\n
When I saw players moving around in a compact four walled court, I felt the potential of a jorkyball as a new sport after soccer and futsal.<\/p>\n
It also incorporates the elements of squash and air hockey, and jorkyball is not only a new sense of fitness soccer, but also an all-weather indoor sport that men and women of all ages have fun.<\/p>\n
However, in Japan, jorkyball is yet unfamiliar, and it is in the stage of aiming to spread it in Japan, but I heard that it is a very popular sport in Europe, especially in France where it originated.<\/p>\n
I hope that this world competitions will be a great opportunity to increase the jorkyball players in Japan, and I’m hoping that the event will be successful.
