2020ジョーキーボール世界大会の開催を心よりお慶び申し上げます。さて、今大会のアンバサダーに就任をさせて頂きました。皆様と共に今回の世界大会を精一杯盛り上げて参りたいと思います。

また、記念すべきアジア初開催が地元福岡で開かれることは大変ありがたく存じております。関係者の皆さまの御尽力に敬意を表すとともに、今後の日本での更なる普及に向けて、皆さまと共に積極的に努力をして参りたいと思います。

さて、私は国会において、ラグビーワールドカップや東京オリンピック・パラリンピックに向けた環境整備のための準備をして参りましたが、現在はオリンピック後のスポーツレガシー（遺産）について議論をしており、スポーツが国民生活により身近なものとなり、スポーツで社会を豊かに出来るよう、法案化を視野に入れながら議論を行っています。

昨年、ラグビーワールドカップで日本中がおおいに盛り上がり大変感動致しました。新型コロナウイルスの影響により、残念ながら東京オリンピック・パラリンピック大会は１年間延期となってしまいましたが、オリンピック・パラリンピックというビッグイベントは、世界が注目すると同時に莫大なエネルギーが全世界にスポーツを通じて発信されます。

スポーツの持つ様々な魅力を社会に取り込むための、誰でも出来るあらゆるスポーツの振興は、これからもっともっと期待されると考えております。その一つの注目されるスポーツとして大きな競技場を持つ必要がなく、誰もが気軽に楽しめるジョーキーボールを、更に広めて参りたいと思っています。

多くのジョーキーボールを愛する皆さまの今後の益々の発展を祈念し、メッセージと致します。

I support the spread of Jorkyball that are easy to enjoy!

I heartily congratulate the JORKYBALL WORLD COMPETITIONS 2020 to be held in Japan.
I was appointed as an ambassador of this 2020 World Competitions. I would like to liven up this world competition with everyone.

I am also very grateful that the first Jorkyball World Competition in Asia will be held in my hometown, Fukuoka. I would like to express my deepest respect to everyone involved, and would like to work on dissemination activities to increase the jorkyball players.

Now, at the Diet, I have been preparing for the environment arrangement for the Rugby World Cup and the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, but now I am discussing about the sports legacy (heritage) after the Olympics with a view to billing so that sports can become more familiar to people’s lives and enrich society with sports.

Last year, I was very impressed that the rugby world cup has liven up all over Japan. Unfortunately, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games have been postponed for one year, but at the big event of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, a huge energy is disseminated to all over the world at the same time as the attention of the world. I believe that the promotion of all kinds of sports that anyone can do in order to incorporate the various charms of sports into society should be expected even more from now on. As one of the notable sports, I would like to spread Jorkyball which doesn’t need a big stadium and men and women of all ages can enjoy easily.

We would like to pray for the future development of all those who love Jorkyball.
